How it works
Three steps, no model in the loop β just spaCy's named-entity model and validated pattern matching.
Paste your text
An email thread, an HR file, an invoice, a case note β anything you're about to hand to an AI tool or an external party.
It gets scrubbed
Names, organizations, and places are found by spaCy's NER model; emails, IBANs, and phone numbers by validated pattern matching β resolved in a single pass, so nothing gets double-processed or corrupted.
You get a receipt
A SHA-256 hash of the input and output, a timestamp, and a receipt ID β evidence of what was removed, without storing the text itself.
Where this fits in your day
Not a new workflow β one extra step before you paste into an AI tool you already use.
Wording a grievance response
You want ChatGPT's help wording a reply to an employee complaint. Scrub the case notes first, get help with the tone, then put the real names back yourself in the final version β the receipt is your proof the raw notes never touched a third-party AI tool.
Explaining an invoice dispute
You need a diplomatically worded reply to a billing dispute. Scrub the customer's name, IBAN, and email before asking an AI tool to help draft it, keeping their financial details out of a system you don't control.
Paraphrasing a contract clause
You want AI help rewording a clause without revealing which client or company it's about. Scrub first, get the wording help, then apply it to the real document yourself.
Features
Built to be checked, not just trusted.
EU-hosted
Requests are processed on servers physically located in the EU (Railway's eu-west region).
European-built engine
Entity detection runs on spaCy, built by Explosion AI in Berlin β not a US model API.
No LLM in the pipeline
Deterministic NER and pattern rules only. Nothing is "guessed" by a language model, and nothing is sent to one.
Validated phone detection
Numbers are checked against real numbering-plan formats across EU countries, not just digit-shaped guesses.
Structured PII coverage
Names, organizations, locations, emails, phone numbers, and IBANs, resolved in a single non-destructive pass.
Transparency receipts
Every request returns a SHA-256-hashed, timestamped receipt β provable evidence a scrub happened.
FAQ
The questions a compliance-minded buyer actually asks.
Do you store the text I submit?
No. This demo does not persist or log submitted text. Treat it as a public sandbox rather than a production data-handling environment β use sample data, not real personal information.
What does "EU-hosted" actually mean?
Your text is processed on servers physically located in the EU. It runs on Railway, a US-founded hosting company using an EU data center β that's EU data residency, not a fully EU-domiciled infrastructure provider. Moving to an EU-owned host (OVHcloud, Scaleway) is on the roadmap if there's demand for it.
What does the receipt actually prove?
A SHA-256 hash of the text before and after scrubbing, a timestamp, and a receipt ID. It's evidence that a specific scrub happened at a specific time β without needing to keep the text itself on file.
Is this ready for production compliance use?
Not yet β this is an early-access demo. It's built to be accurate and transparent, but it hasn't been through a formal compliance audit or penetration test. If you're evaluating it for a real workflow, talk to us first.
Who is this built for?
HR, Finance, and Legal teams who need to strip personal data out of text before it goes into an AI tool, a support ticket, or an external share.
